Two men accused of firing shots at a local barbershop in Jacksonville are behind bars tonight.
Police say they arrested 37-year-old Jeremiah S. Farmah of Blue Creek Road in Jacksonville and 32-year-old Tirell Nathan Fonville of Starling Street in Jacksonville on January 2 and both men are charged with multiple charges.
Farmah is being charged with felony conspiracy, discharge of firearm in the city, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, discharge weapon in occupied dwelling/moving vehicle, resisting a public officer, possession of marijuana and possession of firearm by felon, according to warrants.
Fonville is being charged with felony conspiracy, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of Schedule IV, possession Schedule II, possession marijuana, resisting public officer, driving with license revoked, possession drug paraphernalia and warrant service, according to warrants.
Jacksonville Police responded to reports of shots fired at Abundantly Blessed Cuts, located at 1005 Marine Boulevard on January 2 around 10:52 a.m.
A description of the alleged shooter’s vehicle was given to officers and responding officers stopped a vehicle matching the description where the investigation then led charges for Farmah and Fonville, who also had outstanding warrants for arrest. No one was injured.
Farmah’s bond is set at $110,000 while Fonville’s bond is set at $43,000. Both men are being held in the Onslow County Jail.
