The warrants served on Earl Kimrey in the case of missing 3-year-old Mariah Woods reveal new information about the arrest.
Kimrey was arrested late Friday and he is the live-in boyfriend of Mariah Woods’ mother.
He is charged with concealing of death, obstruction of justice, 2nd degree burglary, felony larceny and possession of stolen property.
He is in Onslow County Jail under a $1,010,000.00 bond.
The arrest warrant accuses Kimrey of stealing two dressers from a home on High Hill Road around that time frame of Mariah’s disappearance.
The warrant charging him with concealing the death and other charges state that he obstructed justice “by removing Mariah Woods body from the scene of her death and did conceal Mariah Woods death and body, knowing that Mariah Woods died from unnatural causes. The defendant acted with deceit and intent to fraud.”
The warrant continues to state that Kimrey “secretly disposed of the dead child’s body”.
Mariah Woods body is now being looked for.
His first court appearance is Monday at 8 a.m.
