The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man accused of breaking into numerous vehicles in Onslow County.
On December 18, 2017, Deputies responded to the Rock Creek subdivision in Jacksonville for reports of several vehicles being broken into.
Officials say during the investigation, William Ross Stout Jr. was identified as the suspect in the break-ins. Stout was initially arrested by Craven County Sheriff’s Office on unrelated cases but Onslow County Sheriffs Office met with the agency to positively identify Stout as the suspect in the Rock Creek break-ins, according to a press release.
Stout, 37-years-old of Redwood Street, Shallotte, was arrested March 5, 2018 by Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and charged with:
(9) Counts Vehicle Breaking & Entering
(7) Counts Larceny After Breaking and/or Entering
(2) Counts Felony Conspiracy
He was given a $72,000 secured bond by the magistrate and transported to Onslow County Detention Center where he is currently awaiting his first appearance.
