In the recent death of 3-year-old Mariah Woods, her father Alex Woods is in a legal custody battle to get full custody of her two remaining brothers, Nathaniel Woods and Ryan Woods.
Records that were released in relation to 3-year-old baby Mariah Woods custody case shows that Alex Woods, her father, told CPS that Mariah and her two brothers were in “danger of serious and immediate injury,” on May 4, 2016, according to documents.
Alex Woods handwriting reads his attempt to make the courts aware of the abuse going on in the mother’s home. Statements by the children were provided, answers and discovery questions were provided, handwritten accounts of contacting (CPS), and a statement that the mother had committed perjury.
The final judgment awarded primary custody to the mother, Kristy Kay Hunter with the father, Alex Woods receiving visitations from Friday to Sunday. Signed July 5, 2016, by Judge James L. Moore, Jr.
