On this episode of Onslow County’s Most Dumbest, a Onslow County woman is charged after leaving her 5-year-old and 6-year-old home alone while she was at work securing the bag.
Victoria Maria Flores, 29, was arrested and charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after leaving her five and six-year-old children home alone. Flores failed to make child arrangements for them, when she left for work on Thursday, April 5.
Flores children were walking around the neighborhood without adult supervision, when Onslow County Sheriff’s Department responded to her home in Holly Court after receiving complaints about the children.
The Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit was notified of the incident and also responded after deputies confirmed that there were two children at the residence unattended, officials said. An investigation revealed that Flores had done this on at least five separate occasions.
Flores was given a $2,000 secured bond. Her first court date is scheduled for May 15, 2018.
Hopefully, next time Flores can actually be a mother and make arrangements for her children. WORK ain’t that important, where you can’t schedule arrangements for someone to look after your children.
