Onslow Co. Sheriff identify man seen with missing Sneads Ferry teen, search continues

The Special Victims Unit of the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office says they have identified the man connected to a Sneads Ferry teen who has been missing since February.

Her name is Jasmine Rodriguez and she is 15-years-old described as a Hispanic female who is 5’3 in height, 103 lbs., with brown eyes and long brown hair. She is reported to have left her home in Sneads Ferry on February 1, 2018, and was last seen in the Jacksonville Mall at approximately 5:30 p.m. that evening. She was reportedly last seen wearing a black short sleeve shirt with an NY symbol, a jean-colored long shirt, dark jeans with holes in them and white tennis shoes.

Onslow County Sheriff’s Office says the images above were taken from Walmart located at 2025 N. Marine Blvd. in Jacksonville where the juvenile and a black male are seen getting into a red in color hatchback vehicle, parked in a handicapped parking space.

Officials are still looking for Jasmine and say she may have changed her hair color back to brown.

Rodriguez has a history of running away and was with her grandmother when she said she was going to walk to the store, but failed to return.
