Witness and man wanted for armed robbery at Brinson’s Mini Mart in Jacksonville

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men in which one man robbed the Brinston’s Mini Mart in Jacksonville and another as a potential witness.

Officials say on Friday, February 9, 2018, around 4:15 pm, the Brinson’s Mini Mart on Blue Creek Road in Jacksonville was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect is described as a slender black male, approximately mid-to-late 20’s in age, between 5’9-6′ in height, approximately 170 lbs., wearing a black zip-up hoodie. He appears to have a broad nose, mustache, and a beard or goatee. At the time, he was wearing a ring on the index and pinky fingers of his right hand, according to a press release.

The male brandished a silver semi-automatic handgun with a black grip during the incident. He left on foot toward Wood Creek Mobile Home Park after the incident.

Onslow County Sheriff’s Office is now looking for a black male with a mustache and beard, seen wearing sunglasses, a dark colored baseball cap with the word “Charlotte” on the back. He was wearing a dark leather-type jacket. 

Police say this man is a potential WITNESS to the armed robbery at Brinson’s Mini Mart on February 9, 2018.
